Burn Stomach Fat With Interval Training (Part 2)Which equipment is best for interval training? If you are looking for a straight-forward solution with maximum fat-loss results, treadmill sprinting might be the best choice for you. The treadmill has some down-sides too, but is a good choice, because it trains your whole body. Don’t think that sprinting involves only your legs. It involves most body areas, including arms, abs and back, resulting in a lot of “turbulence” for your muscles. Next to calorie burning, sprinting will also boost your metabolism. There is however some inconvenience to treadmill sprinting, like logistics or changing speeds quickly and easily. Without caution, one could even fall off it, which isn’t a great experience. So, for a somewhat simpler (and safer) solution stationary cycling against heavy resistance is ideal (achieving up to 80-100 RPM per work interval). Both intensity and safety are given (unless you attempt to fall off a stationary bike…) Biking still trains the big leg muscles and other body areas, leading to calorie and fat burning. Changing speeds and resistance is also much easier. What other fitness equipment to use? You can experiment with many different exercise routines and equipment. It’s important to just follow the interval training guidelines and employ short bursts of high-intensity workouts followed by rests. If you notice after a while that your chosen type of exercise isn’t bringing desired results, change it or just try the treadmill or stationary bike as described above. Here some other fat burning exercise ideas: The elliptical machine is an option, although there is possibility of shin splits injury if you happen to overstrain. Therefore it’s better to use the treadmill or bike instead. Rowing machines are good, but recommended for experienced rowers. Swimming is another option, although in order to lose fat you’d have to be a good swimmer. Interval training usually produces better results in less time than traditional cardio.
